Military Ball Gown on a Budget
This past weekend we attended the Navy Ball. We have been to a few in the past where I went overboard spending money on just the dress. This year my husband wanted to go, but I refused to spend more than $100 on alterations, dress and shoes. Guess what? I was able to stay in the budget. I searched around online for dresses.
My dress from Love Culture was on sale for $29 (Regular $59.95). I actually was eyeing this dress for over 6 months and had it in my shopping cart. I was getting emails every time there was a price drop so after 4 months in my shopping cart I jumped on buying this gown when it went down to $29. I ended up buying a couple of other casual dresses to reach the $50 for free shipping. Plus I receive $20 off when I reached $50 so it was like I got one of the casual dresses free.

Breakdown of What I spent on this look:
- $29 Love Culture Gown
- $25 Silver Heels from Charlotte Russe (they offer free shipping frequently on any order)
- $45 for Alterations for Ball Gown
- Total: $99 (Still had one dollar to spend)
Conclusion, you do not need an expensive name brand dress to feel beautiful at a Ball. My low cost budget ball gown look was amazing and I feel I felt better after wearing this look due to not having none of the guilt of the cost of the entire occasion. I will be honest in the past I have spent over $300 on just a gown and alteration.
