We love BBQ in our home.  These ribs came out amazing!!

You will need:

  • 2 lbs of pork baby back ribs
  • 2 cups of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup of ketchup
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons of liquid smoke (I used mesquite)
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic
  • Salt and pepper or your favorite seasoning to taste

Serves: 4

Prep time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 7.5 – 8.5 hours

Directions:

Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees for a quick roasting to remove any excess fat from the ribs.  If you are short on time, you can skip this step and go straight to the crockpot.  Now, combine all other ingredients in a mixing bowl and set aside.

Next, place the ribs in a shallow backing pan and season both sides with salt and pepper to taste.  I also used a green chili BBQ rub I found in the cabinet just for fun.  Once the oven is preheated place the ribs in and roast them for approx. 15 minutes per side.

Once the ribs are done roasting, place them in the crockpot and coat with the BBQ sauce mixture.  Cook on low for 7-8 hours and enjoy!
